Personal project , done in Blender , Gimp , Vray.
Mostly a texturing / materials study : using vraydirt and photo stencils to create good materials out of tileable textures.
I liked the results , however on some key objects adding a layer of hand painted base color with discoloration, stains and weathering made quite a difference.
The painted maps didn’t need to be complex , simple brushstrokes (done in blender texture paint ) , then tileables and dirt maps on top to add the details.
Color correction in Blender nodes (fog , sharpening, bloom ,etc..)
